Payroll Clerk

Location: Irvine, CA, near John Wayne Airport
Pay: $23 to $26 per hour

An established staffing and workforce solutions company is seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to join its corporate payroll team in Irvine.

This position is part of a collaborative team that includes two Payroll Processors and a Payroll Supervisor. It is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys payroll, problem solving, customer service, and working as part of a team.

What You’ll Do

• Process employee timecards electronically and manually

• Enter and verify hours in an internal payroll system

• Review payroll information for accuracy

• Assist with garnishments and other payroll related matters

• Research and resolve payroll questions and discrepancies

• Work closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing

What We’re Looking For

• 3 or more years of payroll processing experience

• Experience working with payroll or ERP systems

• Experience with systems such as ADP, Ceridian, Paycheck, or Great Plains is helpful

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a payroll team

• Interest in learning and growing professionally
