Location: Tigard, OR - Hybrid flexibility

Salary: $58,000 - $62,400

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage semi-monthly payroll processing. This is an opportunity to join a cohesive payroll team and make a true impact in the department. Responsibilities Include:

• 
  
• Auditing and verifying employee time and labor data, resolving discrepancies with supervisors.
• 
  
• Processing multi-state payroll for salaried, hourly, and commissioned employees.
• 
  
• Ensuring accurate calculation and processing of all taxes, benefits, and deductions, including garnishments.
• 
  
• Assisting with payroll account balancing and resolving discrepancies.
• 
  
• Responding to employee payroll inquiries.
• 
  
• Managing garnishment processes and communication.
• 
  
• Maintaining payroll system compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including setting up new tax accounts and managing filings.
• 
  
• Managing payroll details and reporting for assigned divisions.
• 
  
• Generating payroll reports and processing employment verifications.
• 
  
• Researching and resolving payroll tax issues with government agencies.
• 
  

Qualifications:

• 
  
• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• 
  
• Experience with multi-state payroll, garnishments, and automated timesheets preferred.
• 
  
• Experience with payroll HCM software - Ceridian/Dayforce or Workday is a plus.
• 
  
• Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• 
  
• Good verbal and written communication
•
