Responsibilities:
- Perform daily payroll operations and related administrative functions
- Manage bi-weekly payroll workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and on schedule.
- Reconcile bi-weekly payroll data prior to transmission and validate payroll reports for accuracy.
- Create and post payroll-related general ledger entries and reconcile payroll transactions with cash accounts.
- Manage the 401k submission funding to ensure IRS compliance
- Process payroll adjustments, manual checks, and related payroll entries
- Process all benefit enrollments and related payroll deductions.
- Calculate and administer wage garnishments in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
- Generate standard payroll reports and distribute them to staffing vendors and internal stakeholders weekly and as needed
- Complete employment and income verification requests in a timely manner.
- Support and guide supervisors and managers in the proper use of ADP Time & Attendance systems.
- Review non-exempt employee time records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and payroll requirements
- Review monthly benefit invoices for accuracy and coordinate payment processing through Accounts Payable.
- Enter new hire and temporary employee information into the UKG HRIS system and ADP payroll database.
- Maintain employee records by processing salary changes, benefit enrollments, employment status updates, and other personnel actions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll processing experience preferred.
- Proven experience processing payroll accurately and efficiently using ADP payroll systems.
- Working knowledge of payroll administration principles, practices, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of federal and state payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and garnishment requirements.
- Experience with ADP payroll systems required.
- Experience with UKG HRIS or comparable Human Resource Information Systems preferred.
Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000 (Salary commensurate with experience)
