· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Entering new hires into the payroll system<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Answer and clarify employee questions on payroll related
inquiries.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage, maintain and update payroll related data.<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintaining employee/payroll records<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Processing payroll every pay period<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Performing data entry and reconciling timesheets<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering,
calculating, and inputting data<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Computes employee take -home pay based on time records, benefits,
and taxes<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Answers staff questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and
time records<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Handles changes in exemptions, job status, and job titles<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with
relevant law<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in
timesheet and payroll records<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Honors confidentiality of employees’ pay records<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Completes payroll reports for record -keeping purposes or
managerial review<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Performs the distribution of wages through issuance of paper
checks or direct transfers to employees’ bank accounts<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Remitting payroll taxes and government reporting<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Processing levies and garnishments<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Corresponding with employees and principals regarding timesheet
needs<\/span>
<\/p>
· <\/span><\/span><\/span>Complete payroll tax forms i.e. 941, 940, W -2, UC -8, etc.<\/span>
