The Payroll Support Specialist II is responsible for assisting our Payroll Team and Operations Team across all Platforms to ensure accurate and timely processing of various payroll functions for all associates. This includes working with dealership personnel to validate that payroll information is correct in our Time Management System, all tickets are answered in a timely manner in our Solar Winds system and provide excellent support to all team members in our dealerships on company policy and procedures to ensure all data and processing is compliant with key controls.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Monitor Solar Winds queue, assign tickets as needed, and troubleshoot payroll and WFM issues
- Reassign PTO policies to employees returning from LOA
- Process supervisor updates based on manager change report
- Receive and distribute all incoming mail items
- Works to submit all Garnishments and Wage inquiries to appropriate vendor in a timely manner
- Answer questions and assist with issues related to pay for all associates
- Serves as a WFM Admin, approves timesheets for payroll
- Monitor time code appropriation and confirm with HR and managers
- Monitor balance violations and work with managers to correct issues with PTO/Vacation
- Assist managers with WFM processes
- Partner with Team Lead to respond to all time away related questions in assigned platform
- Set up new employees in Dayforce
- Work with the dealerships to resolve payroll issues and concerns
- Other responsibilities may be assigned by your supervisor
Education & Experience
- At least 3 years in Customer Service/Support role
- Payroll and HCM Systems Experience
- Commission Experience a plus
- Some Accounting and/or Payroll Experience preferred
- Ad-hoc payroll reporting experience a plus
