What You'll Do

As a Payroll Systems Analyst, you'll support the administration and optimization of TeamHealth's provider payroll systems. You'll partner with Payroll, Compensation, IT, and operational teams to maintain system integrity, support integrations, analyze payroll data, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer payroll system user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Maintain and support payroll system dashboards and functionality.
• Partner with business leaders to optimize system structures and support evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with IT teams to test, validate, and implement system updates and enhancements.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex payroll system issues.
• Coordinate user testing and support training initiatives and documentation.
• Assist payroll processing teams and help ensure timely, accurate payroll administration.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Analyze payroll and compensation data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare reports and provide insights that support business decision-making.
• Recommend and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization initiatives.
• Support integrations and interfaces between payroll, HRIS, compensation, and scheduling systems.
• Train and support team members on payroll systems and best practices.

• You Bring
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in payroll administration, payroll systems, compensation administration, HRIS, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, payroll systems, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms such as Workday, ADP, SAP, Heisenberg, or similar systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel; experience with SmartSheet or similar project management tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Healthcare industry experience or familiarity with provider compensation models is a plus.
