Payroll Tax Senior Analyst

The Payroll Tax Senior Analyst ensures that all payroll processes are executed appropriately and in a timely manner. They are a subject matter expert within their responsibilities, act as the escalation point to resolve employee and vendor issues and share knowledge with colleagues team members. The Senior Payroll Analyst continuously identifies areas in which improvements can be made in operational process and implements and designs those initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of onshore and offshore resources within area of responsibility including providing accurate and timely completion of deliverables.

• Contribute to the overall delivery of payroll processes, including:

• accountable for ensuring service level agreements are met or exceeded

• scope of work is monitored Research and respond to client vendor escalations

• Responsible for driving process change and continuous improvement

• Understand local payroll practices, regulations and reporting requirements such that employee pay can be correctly delivered

• Maintain knowledge of client HR policies, SOPs and business practices

• Train team members on new or enhanced operation procedures and policies

• Contribute to operational reporting as required

• Execute testing of tools, processes, or system and participate in client funded projects as required

• Perform tasks outside of primary job responsibility as required

• Demonstrate strong customer service in all activities, including:

• Understanding the core problem the client customer is facing

• Identifying actions required to resolve

• Resolve client requests

• Provide timely progress updates and resolution to escalations

• Display the ability to diffuse irate and or dissatisfied customers, and provide a positive influence on the resolution of issues across service lines

• Support Puerto Rico HR Services by assisting in benefits administration, including interaction with 3rd party providers
