The Tomah Area School District has the following vacancy beginning in the 2026-2027 school year: PBIS Teacher

The Tomah School District is seeking an innovative educator who can work collaboratively with colleagues, develop positive relationships with students and parents, and build partnerships with the community. This position requires a dynamic and progressive teacher who has a strong background in:

• RtI and PBIS • Professional Learning Communities • Differentiated Instruction

The preferred candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized and demonstrate a positive attitude. This position requires strong behavior management skills with training and/or experience in working with students with behavioral and/or emotional difficulties. Candidates must have knowledge of Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) strategies and techniques or have a willingness to be trained. Person hired will oversee building PBIS program and assist regular classroom teachers in supporting student behaviors.

This is a full-time position beginning in the 2026-27 school year. Co-curricular coaching and advisor positions are available.

Qualifications:

Must have, or must receive prior to the first day of work, a valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction #1777 (Regular Education) (71) and Cross-Categorical Special Education License. Must be licensed to teach 4K-5th grade. Please upload a copy of your teaching license.
