Role and Responsibilities: The PBX Operator answers and directs incoming calls to the appropriate person or department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Answers all incoming calls through the switchboard.
- Notifies employees of emergencies.
- Notifies security and/or maintenance in case of emergencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic PC skills
- Great oral and interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to function effectively in the workplace as exhibited through ones integrity, courage to act and communication skills
- The ability work with others effectively as exhibited through ones respect for people and commitment to teamwork
- The ability to meet organizational goals and customer expectations as exhibited through ones accountability for results, commitment to service and initiative
