When the plant doors open, you’re already planning your first part layout on the direct-drive CMM. Blueprints are up, tolerances defined to ANSI 14.5, and you’re setting up programs in PC‑DMIS to verify critical dimensions. As production ramps, you may oversee more than one machine, keeping layouts moving while benchmarking against check fixtures. You log results to MQ1, compare outcomes to prints, and notify the appropriate team members when something drifts out of spec. Between runs, you conduct capability studies, certify gages and fixtures, contribute to PPAP packages, and ensure every action aligns with MIOSHA safety standards—gloves, sleeves, ear plugs, and all required PPE at the ready.
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or a minimum of one year of directly related experience operating a CMM using PC‑DMIS and/or formal training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A successful candidate will be subject to a background check and must receive satisfactory results of the same, as a condition of joining the team.
Show us a track record of driving capability improvements, tightening measurement systems, and partnering with production to resolve complex dimensional issues quickly and safely.
By applying, you confirm your application details are accurate and complete. Providing false or misleading information may result in denial or revocation of an offer, or termination if discovered after hire.
