Position/Title: PC/Network Technician and SIS Management
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary: The PC Network Technician provides first-level technical support for all district technology
systems, including student and staff devices, classroom instructional technology, and network infrastructure.
This position also supports cybersecurity practices to protect district systems and ensure compliance with state
and federal regulations.
Essential Duties|Responsibilities:
Technical Support
Provide onsite and remote technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and Chromebooks.
Support classroom technology, including interactive boards and projectors.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Assist with device deployment and inventory tracking.
Maintain printers and peripherals.
PowerSchool Data Management
Network Support
Assist with the maintenance of switches, routers, and wireless access points.
Support Cisco Meraki network infrastructure and dashboard monitoring.
Troubleshoot wired/wireless connectivity and VLAN issues.
Maintain network documentation.
Cybersecurity Responsibilities
Apply system patches and updates.
Monitor endpoint protection systems.
Support GoGuardian for student safety and web filtering.
Assist with account management (Active Directory and Google Workspace).
Identify and report phishing or suspicious activity.
Assist with audits and incident response.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience; basic knowledge of computers and
networking; strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: IT Certifications (A+, Network+, Security+); Experience with Google Workspace,
Active Directory, Meraki, and GoGuardian.
Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50 pounds; able to travel between school sites; able to work in various
environments (classrooms, offices, etc.).
Terms of Employment: 12-month position; schedule based on district needs; occasional after-hours work is
required.
Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with Board Policy.
Additional Information: Must adhere to all Board Policies; must maintain confidentiality of student | staff data;
must pass a new background check.
Salary: Based on Board-Approved Support Personnel Salary Schedule
