Job Description

We are seeking a Field Technical Support Consultant III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in PC and printer field break/fix support and a proven ability to diagnose, repair, and restore customer systems to full operation on site.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site break/fix support for HP laptops, desktops, RPOS, and workstations; printer support is a plus.
  • Configure hardware, software, and simple network components and perform unit repairs and installations.
  • Troubleshoot technical and mechanical issues, including interaction with third-party software, networks, and switches.
  • Execute and assist in escalation action plans to remediate PC and print issues.
  • Educate customers on technology use and set clear expectations while ensuring contractual commitments.
  • Document service activities with accuracy and meet administrative responsibilities.
  • Manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and make sound business-based decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Hands-on technical and mechanical hardware repair experience with PCs; printer repair knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools and alignment apparatus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot methodically across hardware, software, and simple network components.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills with customer-facing experience on site.
  • Attention to detail and strong administrative discipline.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, crawling, stooping, and sitting.
  • Availability for scheduled and unscheduled overtime, holidays, and non-traditional shifts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with additional hardware technology training; college preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with retail point-of-sale hardware (RPOS) environments.
