About the Role:
Blue Mountain Home Healthcare Lehigh Valley is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide (PCA) / Direct Care Worker (DCW) to join our growing team in Allentown, PA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who need support in their daily lives — all from the comfort of their own homes.



Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in a home care setting
• Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow individualized care plans
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a PCA, DCW, HHA, CNA, or caregiver preferred
• Genuine compassion, patience, and dedication to client-centered care
• Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Lehigh Valley area
• Must be able to pass a background check and meet state compliance requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or GED preferred
