PCA Field Supervisor - Flexible, Assignment-Based Role
MaineTouch LLC is seeking an experienced RN, LPN, CNA, PSS, or other licensed care professional to serve as a PCA Field Supervisor supporting our Personal Care Agency program across Maine.
This role is designed to support staff supervision, training, onboarding, and quality assurance as our PCA program continues to grow. The position is assignment-based and task-based, not full-time, and is ideal for experienced professionals seeking flexible, field-based work.
This role is also well suited for individuals who are interested in stepping into a supervisory role, gaining hands-on leadership experience, and receiving training to potentially grow into Senior Supervisor, Field Manager, or Program Management roles as MaineTouch expands.

The PCA Field Supervisor supports the quality and growth of MaineTouch's Personal Care program by completing field-based supervisory, training, and support functions.
Primary responsibilities include:
Conducting supervisory visits with Personal Support Specialist (PSS) field staff
Completing admissions visits and client meet-and-greet visits
Performing company orientation for newly hired PSS staff
Following up with new hires to ensure smooth onboarding and acclimation
Conducting observed performance visits at 30-, 60-, and 90-day intervals
Completing 30-day follow-up conversations with new staff
Providing coaching, training, and initial intervention during client visits as needed
Supporting staff development and performance improvement
Ensuring positive customer service in all interactions with clients and families
Maintaining clear, accurate, and timely documentation
Communicating effectively with MaineTouch administrative and field staff
Completing required documentation using agency-approved systems and tools
Performing duties within the scope of the role and in accordance with Maine PCA regulations
This position reports to the PCA Program Manager or Administrator.
This role is per assignment and per task
Hours are not guaranteed
Assignments are based on staff supervision requirements, onboarding and training needs, admissions, meet-and-greet visits, and initial intervention or coaching needs
This position is being introduced as a pilot role and is expected to grow over time
Individuals in this role may receive additional training and responsibility as the program expands, with opportunities to move into ongoing supervisory, field management, or program leadership roles
This role is well suited for individuals who:
Have experience in home care or personal care services and are interested in supervision or leadership
Want to learn and grow into a Supervisor, Field Manager, or Program Manager role
Prefer flexible, assignment-based work while gaining management experience
Can operate independently in the field and travel throughout Maine
PSS certification with at least one year of experience as a PSS, or
Registered CNA in the State of Maine, or
Licensed RN or LPN in the State of Maine, or
Another licensed healthcare professional with relevant home care or supervisory experience, or
A combination of five (5) years of education and/or experience in a related field
Additional requirements:

Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Respect for client confidentiality and privacy
Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic documentation
Adult Mandated Reporter training or willingness to complete
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Good driving record
Eligibility to work in the United States
