Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Help clients with mobility and physical exercises to maintain their independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervising nurse.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a PCA or CNA preferred.
- Previous experience in personal care or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to clients' homes.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift clients as necessary.
- Knowledge of basic health and safety protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- CPR and First Aid certification is desirable.
