JOB TITLE: Electrical Support Engineer
LOCATION: Wichita, KS

JOB SUMMARY:

As an Electrical Support Engineer, you will provide engineering and technical support in the design and development of avionics and related electronic products. This role is responsible for PCB layout from electrical schematics, design documentation and release management, component library maintenance, and supporting manufacturing and production activities. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and layout printed circuit boards (PCBs) from electrical schematics.
  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical requirements to meet product specifications.
  • Create and maintain component libraries and associated symbology.
  • Prepare and maintain complete design documentation in required formats.
  • Support procurement, build, troubleshooting, and testing of PCB designs and interfaces.
  • Provide engineering support to production during manufacturing and testing activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Technical degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of PCB design and layout experience.
  • Experience with PCB layout software, preferably PADS.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
