- Perform precision soldering of SMT components on printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Rework and repair SMT assemblies as needed
- Inspect solder joints to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Interpret work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Maintain ESD-safe work practices and proper handling of sensitive components
- Support production deadlines while maintaining high workmanship standards
Qualifications:- 1+ year of hands-on SMT soldering experience (99% of role is soldering)
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards; certification strongly preferred
- Experience with fine-pitch components and microscope work
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently in a production environment
Preferred:- IPC-A-610 Certification (current or previously held)
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing environments
