Summary:
Monitors production planning and execution against agreed priorities and delivery commitments for PCB assemblies.
Identifies manufacturing constraints, material shortages, and production risks impacting PCBA delivery.
Follows up on production recovery plans and ensures timely implementation of agreed actions.
Monitors incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities for PCBA production.
Verifies compliance with approved drawings, specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality requirements for PCB assemblies.
Monitors effective control of non-conforming products, rework, and corrective actions for PCBAs.
Implements and tracks containment and permanent corrective actions for quality issues.
Conducts operational reviews with supplier management to monitor production, delivery, and quality performance.
Uses structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D, 5 Why, and Root Cause Analysis for quality issues.
Provides weekly progress reports, open action trackers, risk and recovery plans, and quality issue logs.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Minimum five years of experience in PCB and PCBA manufacturing, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering.
Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
Experience in supplier development, manufacturing surveillance, or industrial performance improvement.
Knowledge of IPC standards for PCB manufacturing and assembly.
Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems.
Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies including 8D, 5 Why, and Root Cause Analysis.
Ability to monitor production planning and execution against delivery commitments.
Experience verifying compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
Experience conducting operational reviews and reporting on production, delivery, and quality performance.
