Job Summary We are seeking an experienced PCMS Engineer with strong expertise in asset integrity and mechanical integrity management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PCMS, Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), corrosion monitoring, inspection data management, and static equipment integrity. This role involves supporting inspection planning, asset reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
Job Title: PCMS Engineer Location: Midland, Texas
Key Responsibilities
Configure and maintain PCMS master data for static equipment, piping, pipelines, and pressure safety valves (PSVs).
Manage inspection data, validation, and quality checks within PCMS.
Develop and execute Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programs.
Perform corrosion monitoring, thickness analysis, remaining life assessments, and damage mechanism tracking.
Support inspection planning and coordinate with reliability, inspection, and operations teams.
Maintain inspection schedules aligned with mechanical integrity and industry compliance requirements.
Perform fitness-for-service (FFS) evaluations and track repair activities.
Support PCMS integration with CMMS platforms for maintenance execution.
Create dashboards, reports, and KPI metrics for asset condition and inspection performance.
Ensure data accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement of PCMS processes.
Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and provide end-user support.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Plant Condition Management System (PCMS).
Expertise in Static Equipment, Piping, Pipeline, and PSV Integrity Management.
Experience with Risk-Based Inspection (API 580/581).
Knowledge of corrosion monitoring, thickness measurements, and remaining life calculations.
Familiarity with Mechanical Integrity, OSHA PSM, API, and ASME standards.
Experience integrating PCMS with SAP PM or Maximo.
Ability to generate analytical reports and inspection dashboards.
Experience with Fitness-for-Service (API 579) evaluations.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data management skills.
Mandatory Requirement
Valid PCMS (Plant Condition Management System) Certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Corrosion Engineering, or a related discipline.
API certifications such as API 510, 570, 580, 579, or 653 are preferred.
Experience in industrial asset integrity or mechanical integrity programs.
