What Youll Do
- Provide quality patient care in a PCU float pool environment during night shift hours.
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed within the OSU-affiliated hospital system.
- Manage patient assignments with estimated ratios of 1:3-4.
- Start new IVs, monitor Telemetries, and utilize Epic EMR charting system efficiently.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Follow hospital protocols and maintain compliance with all licensing and clinical standards.
What You Need
- Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of recent RN experience, preferably in a PCU or similar setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and Epic EMR experience
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
