What You’ll Do
  • Provide expert nursing care to low-acuity cardiac patients in the PCU setting
  • Float within units of equivalent or lower patient acuity as needed
  • Administer medications, IV starts, and monitor telemetry
  • Document patient information using Epic electronic health record system
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain clinical standards and ensure patient safety during night shifts
  • Manage patient ratios approximately 1:3 and adhere to internal protocols
What You Need
Required:
  • 2 or more years of PCU experience in a hospital setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Valid Ohio RN license or compact license
  • Strong telemetry and IV skills
  • Experience with Epic EHR preferred

Preferred:
  • Cardiac care experience, especially in lower acuity units
  • Ability to work independently on night shift with minimal supervision
