What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality care to oncology and telemetry patients in a progressive care setting
  • Monitor patient status with GE telemetry systems and other advanced equipment
  • Administer medications, including blood products and chemotherapy (preferred, not required)
  • Manage patient needs such as IV insertions, port accesses, and wound care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for rapid response and critical interventions
  • Document care and ensure infection prevention and patient safety protocols are followed
  • Float within units of similar or lower acuity as needed
What You Need
Required:
  • Active Ohio RN license
  • BCLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of high acuity PCU or Oncology experience
  • Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, port care, and medication administration
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including variable weekend shifts

Preferred:
  • Experience manages dysrhythmias, chemotherapy, wound care, and arterial lines
  • Previous travel nursing experience

This position is based in a reputable healthcare facility in Columbus, Ohio, within a 36-bed Oncology Telemetry unit. You will be caring for patients with solid tumors, orthopedic, and thoracic cancers, providing critical telemetry bedside care in a fast-paced environment. The unit emphasizes infection control and patient safety, with advanced monitoring and supportive equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
