PCU RN

A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse opportunity is available in Fort Walton Beach, FL at a 267-bed hospital offering an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a Cancer Care Center, open-heart surgery services, and emergency care including a pediatric ER and two freestanding ERs.

The role. The PCU RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers, serving patients who require close monitoring and intervention. The nurse assesses patient condition on admission and throughout each shift, identifying and promptly reporting changes in status. Core responsibilities include performing procedures as ordered, administering prescribed medications, and monitoring patient response. Documentation of all care in the medical record is completed in a timely and thorough manner. A working knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment specific to cardiac and medical-surgical patients is central to this position.

What we're looking for.

• Associate Degree
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• 2 years of acute care PCU RN experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Schedule. Night shift with rotating weekends.

Compensation. $27.72 - $39.60/hr plus $10,000 sign-on bonus
