Schedule:
Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:15 AM)
13 shifts/month | Alternate weekends & holidays
Salary:
$117,695 – $152,756 annually
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated PCU RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, applying the nursing process, and ensuring safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care for diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
- Monitor, assess, and prioritize patient conditions
- Administer medications, including blood/blood products
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and ethical practice
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge planning
- Delegate tasks appropriately and support unit operations
- Participate in quality improvement and hospital initiatives
Requirements:
- Active New York RN license
- BSN required
- BLS (AHA) required
- ACLS (or obtain within 6 months)
- 1+ year acute care experience preferred
