What this job involves: The PDS Strategic Sourcing Lead focuses on launching, developing, and maturing a new Project Delivery Services program within an Integrated Facilities Management environment for a dedicated client, combining direct accountability for leading a high-performing Sourcing and Procurement team with the strategic responsibility of building a scalable PDS program from the ground up. You'll design processes, establish sourcing standards, create governance frameworks, and develop sourcing playbooks for capital and project-related services while establishing best practices for contractor selection, evaluation, contracting, and performance management. The position requires exceptional executive presence with the confidence to secure a seat at the table with senior stakeholders, proactively engaging in project planning discussions to ensure procurement involvement occurs at the earliest stages rather than waiting to be invited. You'll act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders who require procurement expertise and structure in newly launching programs, confidently navigating initial resistance or ambiguity to establish procurement as a required strategic partner. The role involves independently managing complex PDS RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs from initiation through award and transition, developing sourcing strategies and evaluation frameworks while leading cross-functional scoring and supplier selection processes. You'll recruit, develop, and retain top sourcing and procurement talent, creating high-performing integrated teams committed to delivering sustainable operational excellence while managing the Third Party Supplier Performance Management Program. This position demands someone who will actively and consistently drive procurement involvement in all PDS initiatives, taking ownership for building relationships and integrating procurement into workflows, governance forums, and capital discussions. Consistent availability during standard business hours with reliable technology access for real-time responsiveness through phone, email, and video collaboration is essential to support time-sensitive client needs.

  • Manage the Third Party Supplier Performance Management Program, collaborating with operations teams to develop scorecards through surveys and CMMS metrics, sharing results and reviewing with select subcontractors via QBR process, and delivering quarterly reports to operations teams and client
  • Oversee annual sourcing plan development, actively managing the plan with the business and executing against it including annual benchmarking of existing third party contractor spend, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending strategies to achieve goals while mitigating risk
  • Ensure the vision and strategy of the client sourcing plan are implemented and aligned with necessary objectives, leading and participating in client meetings and strategy sessions while establishing and maintaining relationships with Account Director and client leadership
  • Present program strategy, sourcing recommendations, and outcomes to senior leadership, communicating confidently in high-visibility meetings and responding thoughtfully to live questions and evolving project dynamics while representing procurement in capital governance forums
  • Establish consistent contracting standards for project services, support negotiation of design, construction, and specialty service agreements, implement risk assessment practices for capital projects, and create visibility into project spend and program outcomes
  • Own sourcing compliance and controls including contract and COI compliance, RFx process improvements, diverse spend, and adherence to procurement playbook while ensuring all sourcing technology tools are leveraged across assigned accounts

Required qualifications:
