Position Overview As a Pediatric Audiologist at Driscoll, youll provide life-changing care by diagnosing and treating hearing disorders in children across inpatient and outpatient settings. Youll work closely with ENT providers and multidisciplinary teams to support South Texas youngest residents.
Essential Responsibilities • Conduct behavioral evaluations, VRA, play, and conventional audiometry • Administer ABRs in inpatient and outpatient settings • Natural Sleep Sedation Anesthesia • Dispense/manage amplification devices, hearing aids, bone conduction, cochlear implants • Support ENT and specialty clinics • Provide education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals • Maintain detailed documentation and meet newborn hearing screening requirements • Participate in team meetings, process improvement, and community outreach
Qualifications • Masters or Doctoral degree, Au.D. or Ph.D. in Audiology • Current Texas Audiology Licensure or ability to obtain • Pediatric and cochlear implant experience highly preferred • CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
