Join Affirmed Home Care!Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced Pediatric Behavioral Health Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 nursing care for a 13-year-old pediatric client with Autism and seizure needs in Newark, NJ.This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working one-on-one with pediatric clients and is comfortable providing behavioral support, seizure management, medication administration, and compassionate hands-on care in a home setting.COMPETITIVE PAY
As a Pediatric Behavioral Health Nurse, you will provide individualized nursing care while supporting the client's safety, comfort, and daily needs.QUALIFICATIONSFor RN and LPN candidates:
Current New Jersey RN or LPN license
Pediatric nursing experience preferred
Experience working with children with Autism or behavioral needs strongly preferred
Experience with seizure management and medication administration
Current BLS Certification
Strong clinical and communication skills
Dependable, patient, compassionate, and attentive
Comfortable providing one-on-one care in a home environment
Authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver's license preferred
HEALTH & COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTSCandidates must be able to provide:
Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past 12 months, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption
