Pediatric Cardiologist Clinical Associates

Compensation: $165 per hour

Our organization is currently looking for part-time Clinical Associates in the Pediatric Cardiology section, with opportunities for renewable terms lasting up to one year. The role requires a commitment of up to 10% effort. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting outpatient clinic sessions
• Providing inpatient consultations
• Performing necessary procedures
• Interpreting cardio-diagnostic tests relevant to the specialty

Please note that these positions do not involve teaching or scholarly activities. Compensation is hourly, and these roles do not come with benefits.

About Our Cardiovascular Program

The Cardiovascular service line within our organization is recognized as one of the leading children's heart programs in the nation. Our multidisciplinary team comprises:

• Cardiologists
• Fellows
• Three board-certified congenital heart surgeons
• A specialized cardiac anesthesia team

Our cardiac surgeons perform over 400 operations annually, achieving outcomes that rank among the best nationally (according to the STS-CHS Database). We also maintain one of the highest volumes of ambulatory clinic visits in the country, with locations throughout Chicago, its suburbs, Northern Illinois, and Northern Indiana.

Our cardiac program is one of the largest in the Midwest, offering expertise in:

• Echocardiography
• Advanced cardiac imaging (CT/MRI)
• Electrophysiology
• Interventional cardiac catheterization
• Fetal cardiology
• Adult congenital heart disease
• Marfan Syndrome
• Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
• Cardiac critical care
• Preventative and rehabilitative cardiology

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a medical doctorate or equivalent
• Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana
• Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology
• Have completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology or a related subspecialty
