Carilion Children's is recruiting an additional Pediatric Cardiologist to join their team at Carilion Clinic Children's Hospital located in Roanoke, Virginia. This is a great opportunity to join an established clinic-based, academic practice to provide Pediatric Cardiology services as part of the only tertiary center in southwest Virginia. In addition to clinical care, there are remarkable opportunities in teaching, clinical research, and quality improvement. The position includes a faculty appointment with Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine based in Roanoke, Virginia.

The new candidate would join a team of three experienced Board-Certified Pediatric Cardiologists who currently provide services for our population including General Pediatric Cardiology, Fetal Cardiology, and non-invasive imaging including Cardiac CT and cMRI. In addition to providing ambulatory care in our new state of the art facility, we provide inpatient consultation services for the pediatric inpatient units supported by the Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatric Intensivists, Neonatologists, and Pediatric ER providers. On-call coverage is 1:3 with 24 hour on-call sonographer services provided.

Carilion Children's Pediatric Cardiology is located on the outskirts of Roanoke's vibrant and safe Downtown District in a new state-of-the-art pediatric facility combining general pediatrics and all pediatric subspecialties along with full lab and xray services, conveniently located three miles from Carilion Clinic's Children Hospital and Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute.

Offer Details

Salary Range: $325,978.00 – $413,966.00

Incentive Pay: Yes, Base Salary plus two-tier Bonus Plan based on quality and productivity

CME: 5 Days plus Allowance
