POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Join our Division of Pediatric Cardiology which includes 2 full time BC pediatric cardiologists, 2 full time and 2 per diem cardiac sonographers, and an excellent support team. Practice at our state-of-the-art pediatric outpatient specialty center in Springfield MA. We also provide consults at nearby Baystate Children’s Hospital, 2 miles away.
- We offer full range of non-invasive cardiology care. Cardiac surgeries, catheter-based interventions, and ECMO are referred to Boston Children’s Hospital and patients return to us for follow-up care.
- Serve as a clinical educator for our pediatric residents and medical students. Faculty appointment to UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate.
- BCH is a 107-bed facility which provides complete critical care programs including the region’s only PICU and Level III NICU, as well as pediatric inpatient services, and a designated pediatric ED. Baystate Children’s Specialty Center houses 15 pediatric specialty services under one roof with focus on care coordination, comfort, and convenience for children and families.
- Excellent professional development and mentoring opportunities within Baystate and with Boston area hospitals.
- Qualifications: ABMS BE/BC Pediatric Cardiology. Ability to perform neonatal and pediatric transthoracic echocardiograms while on call. Experience in fetal echocardiography is a plus but not required.
- Our compensation package consists of a base salary of between $280,000- $364,000 (based on 1.0 FTE, experience level and qualifications) and annual incentive bonus opportunities.
