About Medical City Childrens Hospital and Medical City Heart Hospital
Medical City Childrens Hospital is a 225-bed pediatric hospital with the largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in North Texas. The hospital features:
• 108-bed Level IV NICU • Regionalized care model with 9 Medical City Healthcare affiliated NICUs • Medical City Childrens Congenital Heart Center, consisting of: • 2 dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms • 2 cardiac catheterization labs • 1 hybrid suite • 25-bed dedicated CICU • Stepdown Unit with 24 attending NP coverage • ICAEL-certified Echo Lab • cMRI and collaborative 3D printing programs • Two congenital heart surgeons with neonates and infants comprising 70-80 of surgical volume
The Medical City Childrens Maternal Fetal Institute (MFI) is the only center in North Texas providing the full spectrum of both fetal and neonatal surgical and non-surgical interventions. Medical City Dallas is the only hospital in North Texas with both a full-service childrens hospital and obstetric hospital within the same facility.
Medical City Heart Hospital is a 63-bed specialized adult hospital with a 15-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and 24-bed Progressive Care Unit. The hospital features world-class expertise in adult cardiac surgery, arrhythmia surgery, structural heart disease, cardiac transplantation, and mechanical support.
