Qualifications: - Current MD Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
Role Overview:The Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and is responsible for the providing occupational therapy services to supplement the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). COTA will work collaboratively with a team of therapists, in order for clients to receive comprehensive care.
Responsibilities:- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in conducting screenings and evaluations.
- Help clients to improve their fine and gross motor skills.
- Treat clients with therapeutic and self-care activities.
- Monitors clients progress to make sure that they re successfully completing treatment.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure proper billing and documentation.
- Safely use departmental equipment for client care.
- Maintain certification and licensure.
