Exciting Opportunity in the Washington, DC area: Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist OT

We' re currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist ($75, 000 - $85, 000) around 20 minutes from downtownWashington, DC. Live closer to the clinic and enjoy a lower cost of living with easy access to DC!

Qualifications:
  • Master' s Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • MD state license
  • Pediatric experience preferred, although an excellent mentor is available
Position Details:
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Multidisciplinary clinic with Speech, behavior therapy (RBT to assist with therapy)
  • Caseload includes a lot of low verbal or nonverbal kiddos, as well as children on the autism spectrum. Experience with or willingness to learn to use AAC devices is preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaker is a huge plus, but a translator is available for Spanish-speaking families

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients.
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based physical therapy services in a clinic setting.
  • Supervise OTA-level providers when applicable to ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team to improve client outcomes holistically.
