What Youll Do
- Assist in pediatric cardiac surgeries in a high-volume CVOR setting
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, scopes, and probes
- Support aseptic technique and high-level disinfection procedures
- Manage decontamination and reprocessing of surgical equipment
- Collaborate with surgical team during procedures, including C-sections, D&C, tubal ligation, and high-risk cases
- Provide sterile support in a general OR environment with scheduled blocked times
- Call required for on-call coverage, based on unit needs
What You Need
- Valid NBSTSA Certification and BLS certification
- At least 1 year of pediatric CVOR or surgical tech experience
- Proficiency in sterilization, scrub, high-level disinfection, and aseptic techniques
- Experience with OB and high-risk cases preferred
- Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts, scheduled from 07:0017:30
- Must be able to perform all job responsibilities in a hospital setting
