Job Overview
Fairview Health Services is hiring a pediatric echocardiographer technician I to join our team at our M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital location in Minneapolis, MN.
The Pediatric Echocardiographer is an entry level position and works under the supervision of the Peds Heart Center Medical Director, Lead Tech and Echo Educator. They utilize echocardiography, a non-invasive imaging technique, to create detailed images of the heart's anatomy and blood flow. These images aid physicians in diagnosing congenital heart defects, valvular abnormalities and other cardiac conditions in pediatric patients and young adults. This entry level role focuses on developing pediatric echocardiography competencies while performing routine studies under supervision, with progressive independence as skills and credentials are obtained.
Schedule: This position will work 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every two weeks, 8 hour long day shifts with a weekend rotation as needed.
