We are seeking an experienced clinician to join a talented team of 5 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners to assist us in the care of our patients. The division is supported by an excellent team of endocrine nurses, certified diabetes educators, registered dietitians, and social workers. Nemours provides robust research opportunities for interested candidates. The partnership between Nemours and The University of Central Florida College of Medicine, in addition to the Pediatric residency and Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship programs at Nemours offer excellent teaching opportunities.
Other Nemours services onsite at Lakeland Regional include outpatient Cardiology, Gastroenterology Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Urology, Rheumatology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Nemours Inpatient services include Cardiology and MFM Consults, PICU and General Surgery Medical Directorship services, and Neurology.

Lakeland Regional Health Overview: Lakeland Regional Health is one of the largest independent hospitals in Florida, with 910 beds, more than 200,000 annual ER visits, 54,000 pediatric visits, and 43,000 admissions each year. The 300,000-square-foot Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children features an 18-bed pediatric medical/surgical unit, a 12-bed PICU, and a 30-bed Level III NICU supporting deliveries from 22 weeks to post-term. As a Level 1 Trauma Center with more than 2,800 trauma visits annually, Lakeland Regional provides advanced, high-acuity care for both pediatric and adult patients.
