    Job Description

    ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Pediatric Endocrinologist Physician in Toledo, Ohio.

     

    Opportunity Highlights:

    • Schedule- Monday through Friday 8a-4:30p

    • Diagnose and provide comprehensive care for pediatric endocrine conditions

    • Coordinate care with pediatric specialists in cardiology, critical care, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, neonatology, pulmonology, and surgery

    • Home On Call Responsibilities (Includes weekends/holidays)- Shared responsibility between APP's and Physicians

    • Join a team of 2 board-certified pediatric endocrinologists and 3 APP-CNPs

    • Access to a robust diabetes program with 3 full-time diabetes educators and social work support

    • Teach and mentor through our resident and medical student education with affiliation through UTMC, clinical instruction of adult endocrinology fellows through UTMC

    • Excellent work/life balance

    • Office across the street from hospital with a 15-bed PICU, 72-bed NICU, and dedicated Pediatric Emergency department (Level 2 Trauma Center)

    Requirements:

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.

    • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided

    • Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.

    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).

    • Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.
