Our organization is actively looking for a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Epileptologist to join the Division of Pediatric Neurology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

The division comprises 11 Pediatric Neurologists, including 2 pediatric epileptologists, and operates within our NAEC Level 4 Epilepsy Center. We serve one of the largest geographical areas in California and are part of one of the most prominent children's hospitals in the nation.

Our team specializes in various services, including video EEG monitoring, surgical evaluations for epilepsy, outpatient clinics featuring a multidisciplinary complex epilepsy clinic, outpatient EEG interpretation, general pediatric consult services, and educational activities for both undergraduate and postgraduate medical training. Our epilepsy group also includes 1 adult epilepsy neurosurgeon, 2 pediatric epilepsy neurosurgeons, 6 adult epileptologists, 1 neuroradiologist, 2 pediatric neuropsychologists, a pediatric neurology nurse practitioner, and a ketogenic dietitian. We offer surgical, neuromodulatory, and dietary interventions for our pediatric patients.

Compensation & Benefits

The starting base salary for this position ranges from $242,000 to $265,000, depending on experience and faculty rank. This figure represents the base compensation only and does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which are determined by departmental compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
