Position Highlights:
- Work-Life Balance:Enjoy a predictable 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday clinic with Friday as a dedicated admin day. Very low inpatient volume (1 to 2 admissions per month)
- Ideal Work Environment:Fully equipped endoscopy suites, a GI Motility Disorders Center, a multidisciplinary IBD program, a Feeding and Swallowing Center, and one of the only pediatric ERCP and advanced endoscopy programs in the country
- Call Responsibilities:Clinic hour calls are managed by an RN Coordinator and MA. After hours, a triage RN team screens calls and routes urgent issues to the ED, with the physician contacted only for true emergencies. The University of Utah team provides backup call coverage
- Culture & Support:Full support from the University of Utah's Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition, a robust division of 20 physicians, 4 advanced practice clinicians, 10 registered nurses, and 5 fellows
- Leadership Opportunities:A true ground-floor opportunity to establish the first full-time University of Utah Pediatric GI program in Billings, backed by the resources and reputation of an academic health system while practicing in a community setting
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation:Base salary ranging up to $425,000 for an experienced, associate professor-level faculty member
- Sign-On Bonus, Retention Bonus:Negotiable
