Our physicians are responsible for supervising pediatric residents and fellows in various settings, actively contributing to the education of medical students and other learners. Additionally, our staff is engaged in both clinical and laboratory research as well as educational projects.
Academic AffiliationsAcademic appointments are available through the University of Arizona-College of Medicine Phoenix, Mayo Clinic Arizona, and Creighton University.
About the Center for Cancer and Blood DisordersThe Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders is recognized as one of the largest pediatric programs nationwide, averaging over 400 new oncology patients annually, with approximately 50% being newly diagnosed with solid tumors.

Fellowship ProgramsWe offer an ACGME-approved fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology, accommodating three fellows per year, along with a one-year specialty fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplant.
Center of ExcellenceOur center is designated as a Center of Excellence, featuring two satellite locations, a team of board-certified attending physicians, fellows, advanced practice providers, and a dedicated support staff that includes social workers, nutritionists, child life specialists, psychologists, mental health therapists, clinical research associates, and research nurses.
