This large, academic medical center provides comprehensive pediatric hematology/oncology services in an inpatient setting. The facility is supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians and advanced practice professionals. The center maintains the resources and protocols necessary to support complex pediatric cases, including pediatric transplant. About the Facility Location
Chicago offers a range of attractions, including the Museum of Science and Industry, Lincoln Park Zoo, and the Art Institute of Chicago, alongside public beaches and parks along Lake Michigan. Visitors may explore the Riverwalk, view public landmarks such as Cloud Gate, or engage with the city's architecture, blues, jazz, theater, and comedy scenes. The area also provides options for dining and shopping. About the Clinician's Workday
Clinicians will provide inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology care Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Daily patient volume ranges from 3 to 6, with the potential to increase as Hem/Onc cases are incorporated. Documentation is conducted through EPIC EMR. Board certification in pediatric hematology/oncology is required, and an active Illinois state license is highly preferred for submission.
