Home Health HR Generalist

In-Office 

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

What You'll Do

As our Home Health HR Generalist, you'll serve as a trusted HR partner supporting employees and leaders throughout the employment lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

Human Resources

  • Maintain employee records while ensuring compliance with company policies and federal and state employment laws.

  • Support employee relations by providing guidance and resolving workplace concerns professionally and confidentially.

  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation to ensure a positive employee experience.

  • Assist with HR policy implementation, compliance initiatives, and performance management processes.

  • Help facilitate employee engagement, retention, and professional development programs.

Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Partner with Home Health leadership and the Corporate Recruiter to identify staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies.

  • Build relationships with colleges, professional organizations, and community partners to strengthen our clinical talent pipeline.

  • Participate in career fairs, networking events, and recruitment initiatives.

  • Promote Dependable Nurses as an employer of choice through a positive candidate experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 1-2 years of HR experience in healthcare, preferably in home health or hospice.

  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

  • A collaborative, service-oriented mindset with a passion for supporting people.
