- Experience: Neonatal ICU or pediatric hospitalist with neonatology experience, minimum 2 years hospital clinical activity in specialty, experience with neonatal airway management, UVC/UAC placement, chest tube insertion (neonates), intubation, and emergency procedures.

What You’ll Do:
- Cover NICU and newborn resuscitations for neonates down to 32 weeks.
- Manage preemies and newborn emergencies, including airway stabilization, UVC/UAC placement, and pneumothorax treatment.
- Provide neonatal emergent procedures such as lumbar puncture, EKG interpretation, and intubation.
- Respond to neonatal emergencies as part of a 24-hour on-call team.
- Collaborate with ED and anesthesia teams for neonatal procedures.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and maintain high standards of care for neonatal intensive care patients.
What You Need:
- Valid California medical license and DEA registration.
- Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics with neonatology experience.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Neonatal ICU or pediatric hospitalist role, with recent practice preferred.
- Skills: neonatal airway management, UVC/UAC placement, chest tube insertion, EKG interpretation, intubation, ventilator management (preferred).
- Ability to perform neonatal emergencies independently and securely.
