ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Connecticut Childrens is looking for a BE/BC Pediatric Intensivist to join our critical care team in our 18 bed PICU. This is primarily a clinical position, but the ideal candidate will be expected to be involved in other activities, such as teaching, quality improvement, clinical program development, etc. Our philosophy is to provide evidence-based, high-intensity, family-centered, compassionate care.
The hospital has an independent pediatric residency program. We are also responsible for teaching Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellows and medical students. We see a commitment to teaching as one of the core values of our division - a pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region.
