What Were Seeking
- BC/BE in Pediatric Interventional Cardiology
- Expertise in diagnostic and catheter-based cardiovascular interventions
- Collaborative, patient-focused approach
- Ability to obtain NM medical license
Position Highlights
- Perform and interpret pediatric and adult congenital cardiac catheterizations
- Consult on ED, NICU, and PICU patients
- Assist with post-op management and read echos, ECGs, and Holters
- Provide outpatient care, including interpretation and billing for tests
- Participate in outreach clinics, surgical conferences, and quality initiatives
- Call coverage includes urgent echos and inpatient rounding

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is a not-for-profit organization, and many physician roles may qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
Eligibility and loan forgiveness determinations are made solely by the federal program. - National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program
Physicians practicing at eligible sites may qualify for federal student loan repayment through the NHSC program, offering up to $75,000 in tax free loan repayment for a two year service commitment at an approved site in a designated shortage area.
Participation is competitive and subject to federal approval and funding availability. - New Mexico Physician Tax Credit
Eligible physicians practicing in New Mexico may be eligible for a state income tax credit of up to $10,000 per year, based on program requirements. Eligibility and certification are determined by the State of New Mexico. - New Mexico Health Professional Loan Repayment Program
Physicians practicing in designated shortage areas may be eligible for state funded student loan repayment, offering up to $75,000 per year in loan assistance with a required service commitment. Participation is competitive and subject to state approval and funding availability. - New Mexico Opportunity Scholarship
New Mexico residents may be eligible for the Opportunity Scholarship, which can cover up to 100% of tuition and required fees for those pursuing a certificate, associate, or bachelors degree at a New Mexico public college or university.
The program is available to both recent graduates and returning adult learners who meet eligibility requirements. Eligibility and award amounts are determined by the State of New Mexico and participating institutions. - Retirement Benefits
