PEDIATRIC INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY OPPORTUNITY

A leading children's hospital in Denver, Colorado seeks a fellowship-trained Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist to serve as Medical Director of the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The successful candidate will provide direct clinical care across the cath lab, inpatient units, and outpatient clinics while overseeing all aspects of the pediatric catheterization program — ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to evidence-based standards. The Medical Director will lead the growth and advancement of a state-of-the-art interventional program through innovation, technology adoption, and strategic planning, in close collaboration with cardiac surgery, the ICU, and the broader cardiology team.

Leadership responsibilities include driving adoption of new devices and techniques, developing clinical pathways to improve patient access and outcomes, leading quality improvement initiatives, standardizing care protocols, managing cath lab operations including scheduling and staffing, and representing the program in hospital committees and community partnerships. Candidates must be board-certified in Pediatric Cardiology and fellowship-trained in pediatric interventional cardiology, with a minimum of three years of practice experience and demonstrated leadership and management skills.
