Position Summary:
The Division of Pediatric Neprhology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding our Division.? This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at the Children's Wisconsin hospital campus. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.?
Position Highlights:
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care across general nephrology, transplant, dialysis, and regional outreach settings.
Teach, mentor, and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows in both clinical and didactic environments.
Opportunities to participate in scholarly and research activities aligned with professional interests.
Participate in divisional, departmental, and institutional service and leadership activities that support program operations and growth.
Opportunities in clinical and programmatic leadership available based on interest and experience. Leadership development opportunities are also avialable.
Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.
Our subspecialty group of 5 faculty, 3 advanced practice providers, and a multidisciplinary staff dedicated to pediatric kidney care is deeply engaged in all missions of the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children’s Wisconsin—clinical care, education, research, and community service. We offer an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship and are supported by a dedicated multidisciplinary team including pediatric nurses, dietitians, a clinical psychologist, renal pharmacists, and a social worker specializing in Nephrology, Hypertension, Kidney Transplant, and Dialysis. Children’s Wisconsin has an independent, hospital-based, dedicated pediatric dialysis unit and a robust kidney transplant program with expert nurse practitioners and program coordinators who guide children and families throughout the kidney failure journey.

Children’s Wisconsin and Children’s Specialty Group
Children’s Wisconsin is an independent health care system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children. The hospital, with locations in Milwaukee and Northeast Wisconsin, is recognized as one of the leading pediatric health care centers in the United States. Children’s Wisconsin provides primary care, urgent care, emergency care, specialty care, mental and behavioral health services, community health services, foster and adoption services, child advocacy services and health insurance plans. Each year, the Children’s Wisconsin team has more than 6.5 million touchpoints with kids and families through medical care, advocacy, research and education. In Northeast Wisconsin, Children’s Wisconsin is expanding its services to provide increased access to outstanding pediatric subspecialty care. Children’s and its joint venture with the Medical College of Wisconsin – the Children’s Specialty Group (CSG) - are the largest providers of pediatric healthcare in the state, serving the children and families of Wisconsin with the highest level of care through their American College of Surgeons Level I Children’s Surgery Verification Center, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence, 72-bed Level IV NICU, Level IV Epilepsy Center, and a 72-bed PICU. In 2021-2022, CW and CSG had six specialties ranked by US News & World Report: cancer; cardiology and heart surgery; gastroenterology and GI surgery; neurology and neurosurgery; orthopedics; and pulmonology. With over 70 specialties and 675 providers, CSG providers had 220,000 outpatient visits at 13 regional care sites, 67,000 emergency department/trauma center visits, and over 9,000 admissions.
