Job Summary:

Mission Children’s is seeking a pediatric neurologist to be part of our innovative pediatric team of subspecialists located in Asheville, North Carolina. We welcome new or experienced physicians wanting to practice meaningful, high-acuity medicine within a collaborative, well-resourced children's hospital. 

Qualified Candidates:
  • BC/BE by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology with Special Qualification in pediatric neurology
  • Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina

Position Highlights:
  • Clinic-forward schedule - outpatient clinic focused with some inpatient responsibilities
  • Fully staffed multispecialty clinic
  • No ED call coverage - IP call only, minimum 10 days/month
  • Half admin day on Fridays to promote work-life balance
  • EEG on site, radiology located in the same building, and onsite laboratory services
  • Manageable patient volume
  • Strong support within a comprehensive pediatric subspecialist team, including pediatric hospitalists and intensivists
  • Impactful environment - Only children's hospital in Western NC
