Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Pediatrics, the Nurse Practitioner will perform outpatient

• Newborn visits
• Sick visits
• School physicals
• Immunizations
• General pediatric procedures
• Review medical histories
• Interpret diagnostic tests
• Diagnose patient injury/illness and provide appropriate treatment and education
• Flexible shifts: Mondays - Fridays, Saturdays and Per Diem

REQUIRED EDUCATION & OTHER CREDENTIALS:

• Current and unrestricted Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License
• DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Maintain current CPR/BLS Certification
• Maintain continuing medical education

PREFERRED SKILLS (Not Required):

• Proficiency in: Spanish, Portuguese, Kiche, Cape Verdean Creole
• 2+ Years Nurse Practitioner experience under a collaborative
