About the Role

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students in educational settings
  • Evaluate student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Support students in achieving academic, functional, and developmental goals

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services in accordance with established goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and service records
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educational staff
  • Educate families and school personnel regarding therapeutic strategies and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and professional standards
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy

 

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Occupational Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
